The 2007-2008 winter has been the wettest winter in years for central Illinois. I haven't seen this much snow in my entire life...and neither has my pug. This being Chewy's first winter we thought it would be fun to let him enjoy the snow for a few minutes. With just a few inches of snow on the ground, Chewy had the best 10 minutes of his life pouncing in the mounds of white wonder. After a few moments he began investigating with his squished little nose and came up with a faceful of white whiskers. The picture is priceless and by his expression it tasted pretty good too.
As a reminder to all pug owners...Pugs have a very low tolerance for extreme temperatures, cold and hot. They should not be exposed to extreme heat or cold for very long. While the snow is fun for a pug pup, remember to dress them warm and limit your time outdoors.
